T.V. Santhosh was born in 1968 in Kerala. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, specialising in sculpture, from Kalabhavan, Santiniketan, in 1994. He then went on to complete his Master’s degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts of M.S. University in Baroda in 1997.

Santhosh draws inspiration from various media outlets, including newspapers, magazines, and television, to create striking visuals imbued with encrypted symbolism. His work addresses socio-cultural and political issues, employing a maximalist approach while also being eclectic, minimal, and provocative.

In 1997, he received several accolades, including the Kerala Lalit Kala Academy State Award, a National Scholarship, and the Kanoria Scholarship from Ahmedabad.
