SUBHENDU SARKAR

Subhendu Sarkar is a Kolkata-based artist born in 1977. He completed his Master’s degree in Visual Art from the Government College of Art and Crafts in 2004. He held his first solo exhibition in 2009 at the Artist Circle Gallery in Kolkata and another in 2011 at the Chitrakoot Art Gallery. Sarkar has participated in various exhibitions, including the National Exhibition of Art at the Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi (2002), the AIFACS State Level exhibition in Kolkata (2002), the Camlin Eastern Region Art Exhibition (2005), a curated show at Halo Heritage in Kolkata (2009), as well as multiple curated shows by the Metropolitan Art Salon (2003 and 2008) and at Karma Art Gallery, along with exhibitions organized by the Rajyo Charukala Parishad.
